Being ready for a disaster or other public health emergency can be difficult. It cannot be predicted when or where one of these events may occur; however, certain steps can be taken to be better prepared. 1) Assembling a disaster supply kit

are the key steps in preparing for emergency situations. During emergency situations, staying calm and using common sense are always the best defense.
