Tobacco Prevention

Tobaco use is the number one preventable cause of death and disease in the United States. Wasatch County Health Department's Tobacco Prevention and Control Program focuses on preventing youth tobacco initiation and access to tobacco products. It also supports quitting use among tobacco users and reduces disparaties by improving health related norms of special populations that are more adversely affected by tobacco use.

Wasatch County Tobacco Program

The Wasatch County Tobacco Program offers various programs and resources: 

School Based Programs - Prevention and education classes are offered to all Wasatch County 4th, 6th & 7th grade students.

 

Quitting Tobacco Use - Cessation resources and classes are available at the Wasatch County Health Department.

 

Community Based Programs - Links to various tobacco programs and information.
