Tobacco Cessation Programs

The Ending Nicotine Dependence (END) Program - is a statewide teen tobacco cesstion program.  Teen participants are referred to the program either through the juvenile court system, the school system, via their parents, or they are self-referred.  The END program has increased both tobacco quit rates and reduction rates among participants significantly

 

Adult and Teen Quit Line Tobacco Prevention and Control Program also serves as a referral source for Utah’s Quit Line (1-888-567-TRUTH)

 

Adult Tobacco Cessation Adult cessation resources and classes are available at the Wasatch County Health Department.  American Lung Association’s “Freedom From Smoking” classes are offered yearly.  Call 435-657-3260.  Click here for additional quitting resources and tips. 

 

Prenatal Cessation Coordinating with Wasatch County’s WIC program, The Tobacco Prevention and Control Program offers a quit smoking program for pregnant women.
