Tobacco Free 4th Grade Classes and Tobacco on Trial Classes are offered to all Wasatch County 4th and 6th grade teachers annually.  To schedule presentations for your class, call 435 657-3260 

Tobacco Classes

Tobacco Free 4th Grade Classes

Session 1:  Tobacco product and consequences information - Students are able to see actual smokers lungs and other visuals.  Activities show how addiction occurs, as well as discussing how everybody does not use tobacco.

Session 2:  Advertising Images - Students are able to view commercials and other advertisements and see the techniques that get people to buy products.

Session 3:  Assets - Students participate in activities and discuss how boundaries and rules,  constructive use of time and respecting adults, others and self can help them make good choices.

Session 4:  Decision Making and Refusal Skills - More activities and practice in being assertive, making good choices and refusing peer pressure.

3.  Decision making and refusal skills

4.  Secondhand smoke and goal setting
