Tobacco Free 4th Grade Classes
Session 1: Tobacco product and consequences information - Students are able to see actual smokers lungs and other visuals. Activities show how addiction occurs, as well as discussing how everybody does not use tobacco.
Session 2: Advertising Images - Students are able to view commercials and other advertisements and see the techniques that get people to buy products.
Session 3: Assets - Students participate in activities and discuss how boundaries and rules, constructive use of time and respecting adults, others and self can help them make good choices.
Session 4: Decision Making and Refusal Skills - More activities and practice in being assertive, making good choices and refusing peer pressure.
