Vaccines For Children (VFC)

The Wasatch County Health Department's Immunization Program is working to ensure 90% of all children in Wasatch County are adequately immunized against vaccine preventable diseases by their second birthday.

The cost for those who qualify for the federally funded Vaccines for Children (VFC) program is $10.00 per shot. The program qualifications include children, birth to 18 years of age, who are on Medicaid, CHIP, have no insurance, or who are Native American or Alaskan Native.

*Due to changes in federal mandates the Health Department can longer offer the VFC program to those with private healthcare insurance, or have high deductables, or if the insurances does not cover immunizations. Vaccines are still available at the stock price. Call 435-654-2700 for more details.

We DO bill the following insurances:

        Altius

        Medicaid

        Medicare

        PEHP

        Select Health

If you do not have one of the above listed insurance plans or do not qualify for the VFC, you will need to see your physician.
